I actually stayed up and got right to work on the computer. I spent the evening before scanning scrapbook paper. My plan was to create photo Valentines for the kids. It took all morning to upload the files to an online site I use. Then I spent all afternoon working on creating and fine-tuning the cards. They were printed in the late evening. Our computer is in our downstairs bedroom, so Nat and Haley spent most of the day on the bed watching movies and playing while I worked at the computer.
We also (OK me mainly) enjoyed watching the birds. They were in a feeding frenzy. It was snowing and blowing... I was definitely happy being home with the kids in the comfort of a warm home.

As many of the roads were being shut down, Daddy arrived home early from work to join us.

And when Jim decided to go outside and clear some of the snow from the driveway, Nathaniel couldn't wait to get out too.
